METHOD FOR REMOVING CAP BY DE-CAPPER, AND DE-CAPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cap from falling and its thread from being damaged thereby when the cap is turned to the opening direction and taken off.;SOLUTION: This de-capper includes: a gripper 12 that grips a container 4 and prevents its integral turning together with the container; a chuck 16 that holds the cap 2 and allows it to turn; a servo motor 18 which turns the chuck 16; a buffer mechanism interposed between the driving axis of the motor 18 and the chuck 16; and the elevating means 20 which raised the chuck 16. The cap 2 is taken off form the container 4 by raising the chuck 16 by the rotation of the cap 2 at the same speed as the cap 2 is raised along the thread 4a or at a slightly lower speed while the cap 2 is turned to the opening direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
