PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a nanorod array structure on a conductive and transparent substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided that a manufacturing method for a conductive nanorod structure comprises the steps of: forming an electrode substrate on one surface of a porous film which is a film having a number of fine through holes; filling the fine through holes with a solution containing a metal ion by immersing the porous film in the solution; forming a conductive nanorod inside the fine through hole by depositing the metal ion contained in the solution in the fine through hole via reduction reaction; removing the electrode substrate; forming a transparent conductive substrate on the surface from which the electrode substrate was removed; and dissolving the porous film by immersing it in the solvent thereof and taking out the conductive nanorod structure composed of the conductive nanorod and the transparent conductive substrate.
