METHOD FOR FINELY ADJUSTING KANJI IN ACCORDANCE WITH FONT SIZE AND KANJI FINE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the entire radical structure of a reduced kanji character to satisfactorily display a kanji character in the case that the kanji character is distorted due to reduction.SOLUTION: A standard radical to be adjusted is determined in accordance with a non-adjacent outer frame ratio of the standard radical before a font size of a kanji character is reduced, and further, a radical serial list 200 is set to the standard radical to be adjusted in a font database 110 in order to, in future, continuously update the standard radical to be adjusted. When the kanji character is reduced in the font size, the radical serial list corresponding to the standard radical to be adjusted is first searched. Next, the standard radical to be adjusted is gradually updated to a deformed radical in accordance with the radical serial list. Finally the deformed radical is used for substitution of the standard radical to be adjusted, whereby a deformed kanji character is generated.
