PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and quantitatively counting the repetition number of a repeating base sequence from a number of target nucleic acids at the same time, and to provide a counting kit therefor. PSOLUTION: The method for counting the repetition number of a repeating base sequence includes a first step of introducing a label to each of a base sequence, in the repeating base sequence and a base sequence from among the repeating base sequence; and a second step of determining the quantities of the introduced labels from the labeled base sequence in the repeating base sequence and the labeled base sequence out of the repeating base sequence and determining the ratio of the labeled quantities of the labels, introduced into the base sequence in the repeating base sequence and the labels, introduced into the base sequence out of the repeating base sequence.
