ENDURANCE TEST APPARATUS AND ENDURANCE TEST METHOD FOR STEERING DEVICE OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate an endurance test for a steering device by using a test piece more approximate to an on-vehicle state.;SOLUTION: A pull-out position of a key 22 from a keyhole 14a is adjusted so that a tip of the key 22 is left in the keyhole 14a. Since an engagement state between the key 22 and the keyhole 14a is maintained, the engagement state between the key 22 and the keyhole 14a is not released during an endurance test of a steering column assembly 12. Even when minute rotation is induced to an ignition switch 14 in a state that rotational load is applied to the steering column assembly 12, the engagement state between the key 22 and the keyhole 14a is maintained. Thereby, inserting operation of the key 22 to the keyhole 14a of the ignition switch 14 by a key operation device can be performed. Thus, operation loss of respective devices for the endurance test can be removed and endurance test time can be shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
