PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost and time by a simple manufacturing process requiring no mask, in a method of manufacturing micro-needles. PSOLUTION: A needle array is manufactured through a process of making a master mold by femtosecond laser beam machining and a process of performing transfer forming for the master mold. In the master mold, a base material workpiece is irradiated with the femtosecond laser beam, so that a plurality of non-penetrated holes having a tapered angle are formed on the surface of the base material workpiece. Then, a secondary mold is formed by performing transfer forming with thermosetting resin to this master mold, and then a third mold is formed by performing the similar processing to the secondary mold, and further, by applying transfer forming to the third mold from a biocompatible material, the needle array is manufactured.
