PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently keep temperature difference between an inlet and an outlet for cooling water to a regulation value or smaller by mutually utilizing cooling systems of a plurality of power generation units, and to inspect abnormality inside of a cooling water path without stopping the power generation units under power generation.;SOLUTION: This water inlet/outlet temperature difference control system includes the plurality of power generation units respectively including steam condensers for condensing the steam used as power of a steam turbine by using the cooling water taken from the inlet, a plurality of draining paths respectively draining the drained cooling water exchanging heat in each of the steam condensers, and a downstream-side communication path for communicating the draining paths to each other. In a case when the difference between the cooling water temperature at the inlet and one of the drained cooling water temperature is over a set value, and the other drained cooling water temperature is lower than one of the drained cooling water temperature, the downstream-side communication valve is opened to introduce the other drained cooling water into one of the draining paths, thus the difference between the cooling water temperature at the inlet and the temperature of the drained cooling water in one of the draining paths is controlled within a prescribed value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
