PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a management improved in reliability with respect to version numbers of respective units configuring an automatic transaction device. PSOLUTION: Themaintenance management system 1 is composed of an automatic transaction device 200, and a maintenance management device 5 communicatively connected to the automatic transaction device. The automatic transaction device 200 includes a plurality of units 2a and 2b, and the units 2a and 2b store the information of version numbers of respective units. The automatic transaction device 200 collects the information of the version numbers of respective units 2a and 2b, and notifies the maintenance management device 5 of the information of the version number. The maintenance management device 5 generates the exchange information of respective units 2a and 2b based on the information of the version number to be managed in updating the version numbers of respective units 2a and 2b. Then, the maintenance management device 5 specifies the automatic transaction device 200 being the object of unit exchange from the information of the versions number and the exchange information, and notifies the automatic transaction device of the exchange information.
