PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area representative word extraction device capable of appropriately extracting representative words of a designated area, an area representative word presentation device, an area representative word extraction method, and a program.;SOLUTION: An area representative word extraction device uses a CPU 50A of a server 50 to acquire first document information containing location information which shows locations included in a first area (attention area) designated by a mobile phone 30 or the like and second document information containing location information which shows locations included in a second area that is prescribed; calculates, for each kind of words contained in the acquired first document information, a ratio of the number of pieces of the first document information to the number of pieces of the second document information, each including the same kind of words, and a physical amount indicating a degree of variation in locations shown by the location information contained in the first document information including the words; derives a score for each kind of words on the basis of the calculated ratios and physical amount; and extracts representative words of the attention area on the basis of the score.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
