PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a carcass material of a tire by which productivity is improved and which is useful for improving the uniformity of the tire.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the carcass material 1 of the tire which has fixed width and is long to be wound into a roll shape includes steps of: supplying a warp-arrayed body 4 in which warps 2 each having 250 dtex fineness are arrayed in parallel at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of the carcass material 1; and interweaving wefts 3 each of which comprises a carcass cord 3A having the same width as that of the carcass material 1 with the warps 2 of the supplied warp-arrayed body 4 in the directions orthogonal to those of the warps to form a woven fabric 1A.
