PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting system and a defrosting method for frozen concentrated juice provided with a strainer equipped with a heating means for preventing blockage by an ice clump, capable of saving thermal energy for defrosting, shortening defrosting time, and preventing deterioration in quality of concentrated juice caused by maintaining the obtained defrosted concentrated juice at low temperatures. PSOLUTION: The strainer which can be carried in and out is arranged on the inflow side for defrosting an ice clump accumulated on the inflow side. The defrosting system is equipped with an ice crusher for crushing the ice clump of the frozen concentrated juice, and the strainer for defrosting the crushed ice clump in the crushed object crushed by the ice crusher.
