PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of cracks by restraining a distortion in the vicinity of the edge of an electrode foil while maintaining a connection strength in the caulking and connecting the electrode foil with a lead tab.;SOLUTION: The lead tab 5 is superposed to the electrode foil 3, and through-holes 7b are formed by piercing a plurality of caulking needles 11 from the lead tab 5 side while generating burrs 7a between the lead tab 5 and the electrode foil 3. Caulkings 7 are formed by crushing the burrs 7a by a press, and the electrode foil 3 and the lead tab 5 are caulking-connected. The diameter of the caulking needle 11 penetrated at a place nearest to the edge of the electrode foil 3 in a plurality of the caulking needles 11 is made smaller than those of other caulking needles 11 in this case.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
