PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insectivorous plant model which moves like an insectivorous plant without changing the appearance as an insectivorous plant. PSOLUTION: The insectivorous plant model 2 comprises a stem section 20, and a cross-sectionally nearly V-shaped leaf section 30 which has a pair of lamina sections 33 arranged on both sides of a central vein section 32. A hinge 35 is arranged inside the leaf section 30 in accordance with the outer shape of the leaf section 30. The hinge 35 has a fixed shaft 51 corresponding to the central vein section 32 of the leaf section 30, and a pair of plates 52 connected to the fixed shaft 51 and positioned inside the pair of lamina sections 33. The pair of plates 52 rotates around the fixed shaft 51 as a rotary shaft and thereby the angle formed by the plates varies. A linear member 38 passing through the inside of the stem section 20 is connected to the pair of plates 52.
