PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive or therapeutic agent effective for acute renal failure.;SOLUTION: Administration of radicicol in a model experimental system to cause a mouse to develop acute renal failure due to renal ischemia reperfusion injury significantly ameliorates the acute renal failure.
