PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset an RTC memory without opening a housing. PSOLUTION: To an RTC memory 25 for storing a calendar time and setting information of BIOS, the electric power is supplied from a backup battery 51. When a computer is in a power off state, the electric power is supplied to a power controller 31. When an Fn key on a keyboard 63 and a power button 61 are pushed at the same time in the power off state, the power controller 31 turns off a reset switch 91 only for a predetermined time, and then turns on.
