PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical-drive assist device which gives the driving advice of economical drive according to an energy state of a vehicle. PSOLUTION: The economical-drive assist device includes: an HV control section 21 for calculating vehicle power generated in the vehicle; a power management ECU 60 for detecting the use state of an electrical load; a means for calculating an economical drive state amount representing the degree of economy of the driving state of the vehicle based on the calculated vehicle power; a means for setting a threshold value for determining that the driving state of the vehicle is in the economic driving state based on the calculated vehicle power and the detected use state of the electrical load; a means for determining that a calculated economical drive state amount is equal to or larger than the set threshold value; and an economy determination section 22, which functions as a means for notifying whether or not the present vehicle power is equal to or larger than the threshold value based on a determination result to an occupant.
