PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrene compound and a polymer compound which are each useful as an organic electronic material, a luminescent element material and an optical material.;SOLUTION: The pyrene compound is represented by formula (I), wherein, R₁-R₁₀ can be either the same or different and represent a substituent group selected from the group constisting of H, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryl ether group, an arylthio ether group, and neighboring substituent groups may form a ring; or at least one of R₁-R₁₀ is used for connection with an amide group; and R₁₁ represents a substituent group having a polymerizable functional group such as a vinyl group and a (meth)acryl group, selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
