PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a weld zone nondestructively and more easily than hitherto.;SOLUTION: A probe 10 is constituted, having a ferrite core 11 wherein three leg parts 11a-11c and a shell part 11d for connecting mutually the three leg parts 11a-11c are formed integrally, and a coil 12 formed by winding a wire on the shell part 11d of the ferrite core 11. The probe 10 is arranged so that the leg part 11a is positioned inside an indentation 52a formed by spot-welding steel plates 51a, 51b, and that the other leg parts 11b, 11c are positioned outside the indentation 52a. In this state, an impedance Z and an argument θ based on an AC voltage applied to both ends of the coil 12 and on an AC current flowing in the coil 12 are measured. and the size of a nugget 53 is determined based on a measurement result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
