PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a necessary work stage to efficiently utilize the work stage even on a comparatively small facility ship.;SOLUTION: A pipe Pa which is attempted to be newly connected is connected to the end of an already connected pipe Pb by butt welding on a stopped facility ship 1, then, predetermined length on the base end side of the already connected pipe is thrown into the sea simultaneously as moving the facility ship for the length of the pipe, after that, a sea bottom pipe line is constructed while sequentially repeating the butt welding of a pipe which is attempted to be newly connected, forward movement of the facility ship and throwing of the predetermined length on the base end side of the already connected pipe into the sea on the stopped facility ship. A nondestructive inspection process of a butt welding part of the pipe to be performed after a welding process for welding the pipe which is attempted to be newly connected to the end of the already connected pipe by butting is performed while moving the facility ship forward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
