PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating an analysis model initial shape to be used to analyze characteristics of a string-like product composed of one linear element member or a bundle of a plurality of linear element members, capable of accurately generating an initial shape of an analysis model having characteristics according to a string-like product including dispersion capable of executing statistic processing, and to provide a program executing processing for achieving the method.;SOLUTION: A passing position P_{k, j} of a coordinate plane 10_j is determined on the coordinate plane 10_j to which a predetermined probability distribution 15_k based on a linear element model 1_k is given by use of a random number or numerical sequence, thereby an initial shape of an analysis model holding a deviation corresponding to an actual product can be generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
