PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photorefractive material which performs two-photon response, to make an electrooptic element characterized by extremely high spatial resolution and to attain a two-photon recording volume hologram, with which recording and reproduction can be made with high reliability, high spatial resolution and high degree of modulation.;SOLUTION: The organic photorefractive material is constituted of a coexisting photoconductive material and nonlinear optical material having two-photon absorption capability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
