PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bid management device and a bid management method for, when a user puts in his or her bid for a plurality of auction merchandise, preventing his or her bid from being redundantly accepted, and for improving the satisfaction of a user.;SOLUTION: Storage means of a bid management device 10 stores a bid management database 101 and an auction database 102. Also, the bid management device 10 includes: an input acceptance part 11, a bid merchandise determination part 12; a bid execution part 13; and a bid situation determination part 14 as the function mechanism of control means. The bid merchandise determination part 12 calculates a balance between a bid upper limit value set by a user to the pertinent merchandise and a value calculated by adding a bid step value to the current bid price of the pertinent merchandise in an auction site, and determines the merchandise having the largest balance as merchandise for a user to put his or her bid next.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
