PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing device capable of forming a hollow plastic sheet of a considerably low weight at higher speeds and a method of manufacturing a hollow plastic sheet using the device. PSOLUTION: This sizing device for a hollow plastic sheet comprises a sizing plate having a water supply groove and a slit-like pressure reducing and sucking hole and a pressure reducing box surrounding the take-up side of the sizing plate. The water supply groove is formed in the sizing plate near the contact point thereof with the melt-extruded hollow plastic sheet in the lateral direction of the hollow plastic sheet, and the pressure reducing and sucking hole is formed through the sizing plate on the take-up side in the lateral direction of the hollow plastic sheet. A cooling water spray nozzle and a suction hole for pressure reduction and water drainage are formed in the pressure reducing box.
