Cartridge for containing and delivering a coffee bean material. The cartridge includes a housing enclosing an interior volume. The housing has an opening for releasing the coffee beans from the interior and for bringing the coffee beans to an external appliance. The cartridge further comprises means of transport for transporting the coffee beans material to the outlet. The transport means comprise a movable structure for contacting the coffee bean material. The mobile structure is present, at least in part, in the interior volume. The means of transport furthermore comprise manually operable actuating means for manually actuating the mobile structure. Manually operable actuating means are provided, at least in part, outside the interior volume.
