The invention relates to mining and provides a borehole development of metal and coal beds. The technical result is aimed at increasing the depth of mineral raw materials processing by producing not only gaseous fuel, but rare (precious) metals due to simplifying technology of its production by extraction by a technology combined with a technology of subsurface gasification of coal. The process is carried out successively in two stages. According to the first gasification stage coal is gasified in situ of its bedding, wherein in the second stage the metal is recovered from a coal bed by leaching the latter by a solvent remained after coal gasification of ash and slag layer. The subsurface gasification of a metal and coal bed is carried out using vertical and horizontal blasting and gas exhaust wells, a vertical and horizontal transversal well, vertical ignition, water-removing and drainage wells. Metal is leached using boreholes of vertical wells, vertical and horizontal blasting wells for solvent injection. Bores of vertical and horizontal gas exhaust wells are used for discharging to the ground surface solvent solution and metal present in a coal bed.
