The present invention relates to a hydroalcoholic gel containing testosterone for treating prepubertal males of adolescent age with insufficient testosterone production. There also proposed a pharmaceutical packet and a multi-dose container containing a hydroalcoholic gel. Topical use of the hydroalcoholic gel containing testosterone provides, among other things, a desirable pharmacokinetic hormone profile, stipulating the treatment of hypogonadism, delayed progression of an adolescent boy into puberty or failure of an adolescent boy to progress into puberty.
