FLY ASH USED FOR EXHAUSTS CARBON DIOXIDE RETENTION , EXHAUSTS DESULFURISATION AND WATER DEHARDENING

摘要

The fly ash derived from installations burning solid mineral combustibles is mixed with water to yield alkaline liquor and inert materials. Exhausts are sprayed with alkaline liquor into a suction tower for retention of carbon dioxide and production of carbon salt residues; in the exhaust liquid-desulfurisation tower, exhausts are sprayed with carbon salt residues what leads to the retention of the sulfure dioxide and the production of gypsum as well. Finally, a part of the alkaline ash liquor can thoroughly replace the aqueous lime in water-dehardening systems.
