The present invention refers to a process for reusing Christmas trees, instead of destroying them, for two or three more years and once the trunk has reached a suitable size and height reusing them for reforesting deforested areas, also referring to a fertilizing composition and a fumigant composition as well. The height of the tree is measured as well as the width of the trunk so as to be compared to the Table 1 for determining in which growing step it is and verifying if the tree is ready to be transplanted to a deforested area.
