Invention herewith described refers to the system and process for monitoring babies in the maternity unit over the Internet. The invention belongs to the field of video signal transmission via the Internet and communication with payment terminals. The system according to the invention allows the continuous live video transmission from the maternity unit 24 hours a day. The system includes the IP cameras (1) mounted on the brackets above the baby beds in the maternity unit and through the router (2) and the Internet connection connected with the media server (3) and the web server (4). The user has the access to the system via familiar Web address.
