METHOD FOR TRANSPORTATION OF OVERSIZED AND HEAVY CARGO ON COUPLED RAILWAY UNIVERSAL PLATFORMS

The invention relates to car building. A method for transportation of oversized and heavy cargo on coupled railway universal platforms provides for accommodation of cargo units on such a coupling. The intermediate platforms of the coupling are fitted with movable turnstile supports that accept only vertical forces from the weight of the cargo unit. The structure of a coupling comprises the platforms with the same level of the floor of from the rail heads. All friction surfaces of bearings are lubricated with oil. The technical result is an increase in weight of the cargo on a coupling, that is, static load, and possibility to increase the volume of freight traffic and increase of the train weight.
