A method for determining weight and load on steered wheels of self-propelled agricultural machines and power facilities of mobile units includes determining weight characteristics of self-propelled machines and power facilities with a hydraulic weighing instrument. First, it is determined the normal deflection of tires under the wheels that are opposite to the steerable wheels followed by mounting the supports with a height, which is larger than the given normal tire deflection for 30-. To control the horizontal position of machine during lifting on its side, front or rear side a level indicator is mounted followed by determination of a weight load on the steerable wheels, then the supports are installed under the steerable wheels followed by determination of a weight load on the wheels opposite to the steerable wheels.
