A method for predicting systolic dysfunction of the right ventricle in children with myocardial pathology by determining the right heart and the left atrium functional parameters. Additionally the level of activity of neurohumoral regulation systems is determined. At lowering of left ventricular ejection fraction below 55%, increasing CSR RV over , RV EDV more than , increasing adrenaline excretion in urine above 34.5 nmol/d, increasing aldosterone concentration above 83 pg/ml, increased heart rate above 80 beats/min the development of RV systolic dysfunction is predicted.
