METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING ATRESIA OF BOWEL IN NEWBORNS

A method for identifying atresia of the bowel in the newborns provides for sonography of the abdominal cavity. The complex morphometry of the intestinal wall of preatretic and postatretic segments is provided for the assessment of functional competence.
