METHOD FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF METAEPIPHYSEAL OSTEOMYELITIS IN CHILDREN

A method for early diagnosis of metaepiphyseal osteomyelitis in the children comprises echography of the joints, soft tissues and bones using the linear probes. The examination is performed on Days 1-3 since the onset of the disease and then with 2-3-day intervals. In addition, X-ray film of the affected segment of the limb is taken.
