A method for controlling the number of imagos of cotton thrips and western flower thrips in protected area by means of arranging flower plants within the ranges of crops being grown for attracting entomophages. From the beginning of the flight of imagos of cotton thrips and western flower thrips evenly in 2- among plants being grown of protected soil containers with a bunch of marigold flowers, collected at the beginning of flowering, with the further replacement for new ones in 7 days.
