A method for predicting progression of false joint comprises the clinical examination, radiography, determination of polymorphism of gene methylenetetrahydrofolatereductase (MTHFR C 667T), thickness of complex of "intima-media" of common carotid artery, endothelium-dependent vasodilatation of brachial artery. At homozygous carriage T-alleles 677TT, complex of "intima-media" of common carotid artery 1 mm and vasodilatation of brachial artery 7%, false joint progression is developed.
