Test procedure to evaluate the fatigue resistance of bituminous mixtures. # The new method developed scanning deformations applied in a dynamic tension test-compression, to assess the performance of bituminous mixtures to their failure fatigue cracking of a clearer, faster and easier than conventional processes form. During testing the deterioration of the material with the different steps of deformations it appears, whose level increases gradually, determining deformation below which no fatigue process? Endurance limit? and the deformation that breaks the material fatigue. With these two deformation behavior of the material is characterized and fatigue law is obtained. If before starting the test, the specimen is placed in the press, remaining fixed while the position of the lower jaw temperature may introduce thermal stresses in the fatigue test.
