During the test the process of deterioration of the material is observed with the different levels of deformations, whose level progressively increases, determining the deformation below which there is no "endurance limit" fatigue process and the deformation in which it breaks the material to fatigue. With these two deformations the behavior of the material is characterized and its law of fatigue is obtained. If before starting the test, the specimen is placed in the press, the position of the clamps remaining fixed while the temperature is low, the thermal stresses can be introduced in the fatigue test.
