The ladder has a ladder set (5), and an axle telescope pivot arm (10) attached at an end of the ladder set and supporting an elevator car, where a controller is provided to move ladder parts. A map-based pilot control that represents an idealized movement behavior of the ladder in a dynamic model is provided. Idealized control values for a drive of the parts are calculated for vibration-free movement of the ladder from the model.
