Use: in the railway transport sector for the production of elastomeric shock absorbers. Essence: the shock absorber consists of a cylindrical body which is closed at one end by a bottom and is compressed by a thrust plate of a flexible support unit. The support unit is partially arranged within the cylindrical body of the shock absorber so as to be movable relative thereto. The support unit is in the form of an elastomeric buffer consisting of a cylindrical body, which is filled with an elastomer, and a rod. The rod is supported at one end on the bottom of the body of the shock absorber and comprises a piston at the other end. The piston divides a working chamber of the buffer into two cavities such that an elastomeric compound can flow from one chamber into the other via a calibration gap between the lateral cylindrical surface of the piston and the internal surface of the body. The thrust plate is connected with the aid of bolts and mounting strips to the body of the shock absorber so as to be movable relative thereto. Technical advantages: improving the power characteristics, simplifying the construction, improving the repairability and increasing the service life.
