First, an acidic wastewater generated in titanium dioxide production using a sulfuric acid process is mixed with phosphorus chemical wastewater, and then the mixture is neutralized with lime cream or a carbide slag slurry, after the neutralized slurry is settled, the supernatant passes through a sand filter unit, and then is discharged or reused under certain standard, and the residue is stacked. In the method, titanium chemical wastewater is used to treat phosphorus chemical wastewater, the pH value of the treated wastewater does not need to be adjusted, and the process is simple, which reduces the investment in equipment and the processing costs.
