The present invention relates to a system and method for enabling joint editing of a mind map, and more particularly, to a system and method for enabling joint editing of a mind map that stores editing operations carried out by each of several editors as undo/redo histories and enables each user participating in editing to receive the undo/redo histories of the other users and to update the mind map document so that all the editors may see the synchronized mind map document, when several editors jointly edit the mind map document. According to the present invention, editors receive undo/redo information through a relay server and synchronize the undo/redo histories stored in their terminals, thus having the effect that all the editors may synchronize a mind map document to be jointly edited.
