Nickel-iron-zinc alloy nanoparticles of the present invention are in the form of tabular particles having a thickness of 1 µm or less and an aspect ratio of 2 or more, wherein the (220) plane which is the crystal plane of the face-centered cubic lattice is oriented on the tabular surface of the particles.
