The device (1) has a driving roller (4) for covering a peripheral part of a textile material (3), where the textile material forms an inlet gusset (6) with the driving roller. A surface agent feeding device (7) feeds into the gusset, and a supporting roller (10) for supporting the textile material is arranged in a region of the gusset on a side of the driving roller, where the side faces away from the textile material. The driving roller is driven with circumferential speed of 200 meter per minute. The feeding device comprises an outlet aperture (8) i.e. nozzle, with a non-adhesive coating.
