The present invention provides a method for screening anti-HBV compounds. In the method, anti-HBV compounds are screened by using an HBV core protein C-terminal amino acid sequence as a drug target, the HBV core protein C-terminal amino acid sequence at least comprising STLPETTVVRRRDRGR. The method provided in the present invention can be used to screen and find anti-HBV replication active compounds that induce abnormal packaging of HBV core particles, and can also be used to detect activities of new antiviral drugs, which are obtained in other manners, directed to the targets, and used for treating viral hepatitis B.
