This vehicle-use reporting device (1) is characterized by being provided with: a camera (2) that images an image of a vehicle interior; an image processing unit (4) that detects a movement of a boarding object in the vehicle interior; a vehicle state assessment unit (5) that on the basis of a vehicle signal, assesses the vehicle state of the host vehicle; a boarding object detection unit (6) that on the basis of the movement of the boarding object, detects the boarding object which is boarding the host vehicle; a crew member discrimination unit (7) that on the basis of the movement of the boarding object, discriminates whether the boarding object is a crew member or luggage; and a reporting processing unit (8) that in accordance with the vehicle state, detects and reports unintentional leaving behind of the boarding object.
