It is the object of the invention a multi-purpose van for a pick-up type vehicle, which is suitable for replacing the traditional open load body with a structure capable of containing first aid, research, analysis and fire-fighting equipments. The main feature of the invention is to allow lateral and rear loading operations by using load surfaces which can be translated and removed outside the profile of the vehicle.
