The head (20) has a group of large pipetting channels and a group of small pipetting channels arranged in arrangement patterns, where the large pipetting channels exhibits a larger diameter and the small pipetting channels exhibits a smaller diameter. The arrangement patterns are mutually arranged in two rows and columns corresponding to an identical grid of a standardized microtiter plate (18).
