PURPOSE: A metabolic cage with a collecting unit is provided to make possible automatic blood and urine collection in a state that a laboratory animal freely moves.;CONSTITUTION: A metabolic cage with a collecting unit comprises a cylindrical body(4) which has a hollow expanded in the longitudinal direction, a living space(6) which is formed on one side of the body and in which laboratory animals resides, a net body for dividing the inside of the body into the living space and a collection space(8), a collection unit(12) which is formed in the collection space and collects the excrement of the laboratory animals, a urine collection unit(14), and a urine collection unit fixing unit(16).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
