PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an electrode active material is provided to provide an electrode active material which has high charging and discharging efficiency upon charging and discharging by high rate and excellent life time when used as an electrode material for a lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an electrode active material comprises: a step of putting a lithium compound and a titan compound into a solvent by 10-40 weight% of solid phase to solvent and obtaining reactant slurry by mixing and grinding the materials; a step of removing the solvent by drying the reactant slurry; and a step of heat treatment for 2-10 hours at temperature of 650-950 C by removing powder in which the solvent is removed. The mole content of carbon element on the surface to total elements on the surface is 15% or more.
